Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive element with atomic number 86. It is invisible, odorless, and tasteless but it may harm or kill you, your family, or your pets. My radon inspection will make sure you don't have problems with radon.
Testing for Radon
My radon inspection is performed using double-vial radon test kits. This is the same radon inspection equipment used by many professionals for real estate transactions. With a radon inspection, we are able to accurately determine the amount of radon gas in the home. The EPA action level is 4.0 picocuries per liter. This is the level of radiation at or above which mitigation of the radon is required.
Getting the Results
Following radon inspection, you will receive the results promptly. On the day after the radon test kit is received by the radon lab, the lab will send the results to you by email or mail. You can also call for the radon inspection results and an interpretation letter will be sent within 24 hours of the time the test results are available.
